13 April 2010 Is it important to write preamble in Certified True copies??

Or, we can just start with the resolution?

13 April 2010 Dear Sakshi,

There is no such rule to mention word CTC. However if you are actually submitting the certified true copy of resolution to ROC or any other authority it would be advisable to mention CTC in preamble.

Wait for other members opinion.

eg:-

Certified copy of an extract from the minutes of meeting of the Board of directors of XYZ Ltd ,duly convened and at which a proper quorum was present,held at Cochin on the 13 th day of April 2010.

We hereby certify that the following resolution of the BOD of XYZ Ltd was passed at the meeting of the Board held on 13 th day of April,2010 and has been duly recorded in the minutes book of the Company.
1. Resolved that.....
