WE HAVE TAKEN ISO CERTIFICATION FROM ASR CERTIFICATION SERVICE PVT LTD. THEY CHARGED SERVICE TAX ON THEIR BILL. CAN WE AVAIL CENVATE OF THIS SERVICE TAX AMOUNT

20 June 2013 1)cenvat credit is eligible and can claim in my opinion..with below explanation to the best of my understanding

2)The definition of ‘input service’ has to be interpreted in the light of the requirements of business and cannot be read restrictively so as to confine only upto the factory or only upto depot of manufacturers.

3)In my opinion AS ISO certification is related to business and cenvat can be availed .and more over he can improve the marketability of product by ISO certification charges
