Dear Sir,
We are Set our new manufacturing unit & we are import a machinery & we are paid near 30,00,000/- Excise duty for that. so please clear me can we take Cenvat for payment of Excise Duty, with notification. .

You can take the cenvat credit on capital goods and laying inputs in the stock also before registration.
