CENVAT of Excise paid on goods by works contractor

I am providing services under repairs and maintainance and works contract.
In the case of works contract, I bifurcate sales and service in my invoices and paying service tax on full service value. There are goods which are purchased from manufafturer who charges Excise.
My question if the same goods are used as a part of works contract then can I take credit of Excise paid on Input goods?

You can't claim credit of excise paid on input goods, which is not allowed as per cenvat credit Rules 2004.
