No. interest and penalty need to pay by cash only

Cenvat Credit can be utilized only as per rule 4 of Cenvat Credit Rules 2004.
These rule doesn't contains penalties and demands to be used from Cenvat Credit Balance.
Therefore, Penalties and demands need to paid in cash only
