26 September 2015 A Manufacturer used captive generated electricity for its production and for street lights inside the factory, the inputs used for generating electricity is eligible for cenvat credit for above said two cases?

06 October 2015 Yes, you can take the cenvat credit but you need to pay excise duty on final products.
