20 June 2008 why the act includes word central,asin income tax does not have any word,and why itis called an act of 1944?Is their any task on which refernce this to be called?

17 August 2008 becz central means ,the rule will be made by central govt & aplicable to whole of india .
there are state excise act also applicable is states.
1944 is the year in which it is placed for approval for first time & then adopted after independence.
