Cash purchase of computers

One of my client running an Institute. Recently, He purchase computers of Rs.250000 cash from New Delhi.
He is also having cash bill from that computer firm. Tell me does he post this entry in accounts books by one whole cash entry or by cash entries of less than 20000 thousand ? reply.

If such expenditure is capital nature then he can post as only one entry. Because of section 40A(3) doesn't apply to the fixed assets.

If Invoice is for more then 20K then how can you account for less than 20K.
