Yes.
03 February 2017
Husband can give gift to wife without any tax implications for the receiver of gift. Also gift can be given of any amount but clubbing provisions will apply if wife invests the amount of gift and earns income on such investment for example if she makes a FDR from the gifted money then interest on such FDR will be clubbed with husband's income u/s 64.
