05 January 2016 What is the definition of cash flow statement ? Please advise me such a book that can be helpful to study the concept of cash flow in a private limited company and in a limited company also

05 January 2016 Cash flow statement explains cash movement under the following 3 categories-
1. Cash Flow from Operative Activities.
2. Cash flow from Investing Activities
3.Cash flow from financing Activities
Sum of these three types of cash flow reflects net increase or decrease in of cash and cash equivalents..
Again " Cash" means-Cash in hand and demand deposits and cash equivalent means highly liquid investment having maturity less than three months.
