is it necessary to write name of case laws in ca final exams ?

Technically it is not mandatory. But if a question is drafted based on a case law then examiner expected to see that case law name along with the answer.
So in this way mentioning right case law can make a lot of difference as far as fetching extra mark is concerned. So I would suggest you to make it a habit to quote case laws. Write name of case only if you are 100% sure about it.
