04 January 2014 As per Input definiation under rule 2(k) of cenvat credit rules High speed diesel oil, light diesel oil and motor sprit commonly know as pertrol is not covered under Input Definition.
Means Noraml Diesel used in DG set for geenration of electricity for manuafcturing of excisable goods should be covered under Input Definition. pl clarify
