Yes it is to be capitalised. It is adding to the value of an asset and not mere maintenance activity.

i dont think it should be capitalised...
cause i believe it will be mere replacement of old monitor with the new one...
and capitalization needs to be done when the improvement or repairs increases the future benefits from the fixed assets...
