Income from sale of agricultural land situated outside municipal jurisdiction is an exempted Income? If so, then does such income needs to be shown under exempted income under Icome from other sources?

Such income is to be shown under the exempted income schedule. This is a separate schedule in the Return. You will have to file ITR2.
