05 June 2015 My client has brought a building in 1995 in 2001 he constructed 1st floor and again in 2006 he constructed another floor he sold it in 2014 how to calculate the capital gain. does any govt officers will value the floors. does any provision is there if we doesn't have contractors valuation? please help me

05 June 2015 You may opt for Govt Approved Valuer's certificate for such a case.

The valuer gives the value as on that particular date.

Please clarify, if your client has sold the building consisting 3 floors OR 3 floors separately?

06 June 2015 he sold the whole building who are the govt valuaters can you specify the department of government

08 June 2015 Contact any branch of State Bank of Hyderabad and request for the list of empanelled valuers.

Else you can get it from any of the Insurance company.
