dear sir,
my client sale a agriculture land in a village where population is below 10000,
can i avail benefit of section 2 (14)?

Only Population not sufficient to get benefit under section 2(14) also consider the specified area by the municipality with in its limits. I.e the land should be situated beyond 5 kms from any municipality or 8 kms from any corporation limits. if this condition also satisfied then you avail the benefit of section 2(14) exemption.
