Does the term "substantial interest" have different meanings in different contexts?
what is the method & rate of capital gains tax on ZCB,debentures,units other than equity oriented fund if these are: 1.unlisted 2not sold thru recognised stock exchange(rse) 3.sold thru rse?

Different Contexts may be in relation to the assessee, who is popularly told as a person in the Act and the person may be Individual, Firm or a Company, or any of his relative. . The context may be in relation to the entity also, in which the person holds any interest. . In the Act the term "substantial interest" has been explained/ defined by providing suitable/applicable explanation in context to the particular sections and the meaning will apply according to the context. .
