Dear Sir,
I sold my residential property and there is short term capital gain of rs. 5 lacs.
How can i save the tax on STCG?
Can i Deposit the amount into Capital gain saving scheme account ??

STCG amount can't be deposited in Capital Gains Account Scheme,1988 since it is meant for LTCG only.

no only long term capital gain can deposit under capital gain account scheme 1988.
