17 September 2023 I dont have any health insurance but have paid for an Oversaes Travel Health Insurance policy ? Will I be eligible for claiming deduction as per the limits u/s 80D ?

18 September 2023 Thanks Mr Seetharaman. A number of CAs I spoke to had different views. We could not find any clarification either way ? If you have seen something then kindly let me know

18 September 2023 It's nothing but a health insurance policy so eligible for 80d exemption. Claim it it will be allowed.
