Can two huf's can be formed in same family

We are doing business in the name of HUF which includes My father, mother, myself i.e before my marriage.
Now i want to start my own business by including Myself, my wife and 2 children.
Can i start separate HUF with my family by continuing the earlier HUF by my father.
I want to have separate PAN card with myself as Karta.
Will it possible. Pla guide me sir...
if not plz suggest me any other alternative. For ur information - we do not want to incorporate Firm.

03 February 2013 You can get a PAN for your smaller HUF also and can do a separate business under the proprietorship of your HUF.
.
For PAN Application your PAN Card Photo copy and address Proof will be sufficient.
