My Company's previous board meeting was held on June 2012. Is it possible that next Board Meeting held on October instead of September 2012?

Yes, you can do so, their is no restriction. You can called your meeting in October.

07 September 2012 As per Section 285 of Companies act, 1956, at least one board meeting must be held in every three months and at least four such meetings must take place in every year.

It will be informative to me too,if Mr Ajay could explain the grounds for his answer
