Can i use of prefix "m/s for the proprietorship firm or not?

Dear sir,
i want to start a sole proprietorship company but i am confused on "M/s" for my company name and on Rubber Stamp too.
1) should i use for M/s.XYZ or for XYZ for proprietor Rubber stamps.
2) if i write letter to any bank, should i use " my company name M/s XYZ or XYZ.
if anyone can revert fast.

M/s or Messers is plural for Mr. or when you refer group of people with a name. Hence, M/s. is used with all entities like companies, partnership firm, Association of persons because these entities are group of persons therefore we have to use plural word of Mr. which is M/s. or Messers. Regarding your query, can you use M/s. with your firms name on Rubber Stamp, answer is its optional, generally on rubber stamp, the word M/s. is not written. However, while writing any letter or any correspondence wherein the name of firm/company is required to be mentioned, you may prefix M/s. before the name of the company/firm.

You can use M/s for all types of business. Including proprietor based organisation.
