Campus placements icai

I have qualified my CA in the examination held in Nov 2011 and applied for campus placements conducted by ICAI. The expected salary quoted my me is Rs. 7.50 lacs. My friends say that it seems it is too high and companies wont shortlist my profile nu.
Is that true.
Please give your suggestions.
