24 March 2012 I opted commerce do professional courses(ca or cs or cwa). I was more to interested to go for Ca. But ca takes 5 years to complete the course. So now turn to Cs. Is this is my good decision please advise me.

I appreciate you on your decision to select CS/CA profession. I will suggest you to don't judge both course on the basis of time period, because both have their different qualities.

I will suggest you to those course in which you feel to do better and passed the exam accordingly.

25 March 2012 ur choice of the career shouldn't just be decided by the duration of the course. a career choice depends on ur interest in a particular profession, scope of that profession. if u r really good in law, then u can opt for CS. CA, on the other hand, offers job opportunities in various fields such as audit, tax, corporate financial mgmt, forex dept etc.

25 March 2012 Of course your decision should be honored first. Secondly the decision taken by you may be wrong. In your case you have taken a wrong decision as there is scope for CS but who gives? Let me give one example that a company has to get its accounts audited by CA. In course of audit some problem or deficiency of Company Law was noted and your CA is competent enough to solve the same. Do you think that client will tell his CA that Sir please wait let me go to my CS and I will intimate his opinion? NO NO he will not waste time and get is solved from his CA. Like wise CS are getting work from CAs.
