11 August 2014 Hi..!!
I am a CA Student...I have cleared my graduation from a regular college and cleared both my IPCC groups..I cleared group 1 in 2 attempts and group2 in 1 attempt.....

I am looking for articleship for a long time...I want to work for one of the big four firms or reputed firms such as Grant Thornton,BMR Advisors...

I had got some opportunities to give my interviews at these organisations but I failed to get an articleship..(Reality:No Strong References and issue of first attempt)

I have also worked as an Intern in small firms but I dont like the way they work and treat articles.Moreover all such firms are good in auditing and require articles for petty jobs like checking invoices...I want to work in the taxation field coz I dont like the stereotypical work in Audit..I even feel that the scope of audit will be limited in future.

On the basis of consultation with my friends,relatives and my experience till now..,I am coming to the conclusion that CA Course is not worth it unless you have an articleship experience in a good organisation...

See...I know that many people say that once you are a CA you will overcome this hard time you will face during articleship..but I dont want to work against my will for 3 years where I dont see my growth in the long run...

So I am considering other options than CA like CFA/CPA...Is my decision righT?Is it worth to work at a place where you dont feel comfortable to work and spend 3 years of your life working as a slave and learn against your wishes?

11 August 2014 Then will quitting CA be right? Not all CA Firms are like that..There are many CA firms who treat their Article well. About clerical work I will say that this is a part if your training. Checking is required in every field even in taxation. These are the basic which is also necessary. If you want to climb to top you have to go step by step and this is one such step. In my view look for a good firm and complete your articleship. Quitting CA at this stage with these issues will be foolish.

12 August 2014 pls don't loss your confidence . you can try for another CA firm. and complete your CA. now you leave the CA then it may possible in future you may fill this was my wrong decision.
