Ca in employment & full time practise

29 May 2015 Dear Sir,

I wolud like to ask that wheather a memeber of icai having full time certificate of practise can be employed in a ca firm as full time employee?
If yes then please refer the relevant provisions for the same in the CA Act or CA ethics.

29 May 2015 Yes.
There is no any explicit provision to that effect vis a vis there is no any NEGATIVE provision to that effect as well.

It can simply mean, if the employer has no objection for his employee to hold the COP, he may continue to do so, so long as the COP member is able to attend to office.
