i would like to know-
are following amendments applicable for ca final may 2008-

1.Competition (Amendment) Act, 2007

2.Securities Contracts (Regulation) (Amendment) Act, 2007

3.Companies (Director Identification Number) Rules, 2006

please help me out

20 November 2007 Dear Gagan,

1. and 2. are not applicable in May 2008. They are applicable from November 2008.

3. It is applicable from may 2008.

i have asked the most renouned teacher in delhi of law ,he is 100% sure that all are applicable for may 2008.
pls reply with ur facts........

01 December 2007 all amendments made 6 months before exams are applicable.....therefore all the 3 amendments are applicable for CA final exam to be held in may 08

Even i came 2 knw that there is also an amendment in FEMA,though a lmited one.......
Is anyone have any clue of it
