20 July 2015 For CA final Law I would suggest you to refer Book of Munish Bhandari along with ICAI Study material. Further you should also refer Practice manual and revision test papers for November 2015 CA Final attempt.

20 July 2015 Quoting right section is very important in professional exams for fetching extra marks. Today I am taking this opportunity to share my experience reading and preparing sections in corporate laws. Hope this post would be of some use. Regards Ankur Garg

Strategy/technique to prepare Section in Company Law:

Today I am taking this opportunity to share my experience, with members and students, of reading and preparing sections in corporate laws. According to the most effective and long term success technique to prepare sections in Company Law is:

1. First read and study the Section from Bare Act as bare act contain the pure law passed by legislature (Parliament). Bare act will give you exact content of a particular section.

2. Then read the same section from the institute study material and the law book you are referring for preparation. (Munish Bhandari). From books you can study different aspects of the law given in section and may also refer different opinions and case laws.

3. Now it is the turn of your coaching notes or class notes. Read them thoroughly. These notes will give you readymade analysis of a section through diagrams and class discussions.

4. Finally read and study all the previous exam practical problems based on that particular section from reference book/ institute study material/suggested answers. This will help you to understand the contents of section in practical way.

If you follow the above 4 points carefully and honestly then you may consider your section finished for life as far as in depth understanding is concerned.

Some other useful exam suggestions:

1. Also follow the “ATLAS” method discussed earlier in this group through a separate post. Keep working on your theory presentation and writing skills. Good presentation in theory paper is very important for professional exams.

2. Don’t play with the language of law specially in case of Definition part. It is strongly recommended to put the definition in the exact language. However you can take slight liberty while drafting your answer in respect of other law language but the context, texture, interpretation and meaning should not be changed.

3. By good presentation of theory and practical question in law paper you can really fetch some extra marks. Kindly refer ICAI and ICSI suggested answers to know how to present or answer practical question in law paper.

4. Further as per my suggestion also practice the questions given in the study material provided by ICAI. However if you are taking professional coaching then you may avoid study material questions as normally notes provided in private coaching includes study material questions.

5. Focus on conceptual study in the Cost Accounting and MICS. Strictly follow your plan as introduction of new things at this point of time may be harmful.

6. One more thing in practical paper also prepares theory part properly. Try and prepare your theory notes yourself including the answers of frequently asked questions. Here you may take the help of ICAI and ICSI suggested answers.

Just be confident and rock the exam.
