26 April 2014 Pls help...
hello everyone i am appearing for ca final may 14 exam for both group. I am very confused about preparation of ISCA, i have completed half of the course from Dinesh Madan book and referring with his hand written notes. Now many of my friends are saying that you will not be able to score even passing marks from his book ,instead you should go for study material.....what should i do ??? as not much time left for the exam, it would not be easy for me to start afresh from SM.

01 May 2014 Nitin, first of all be confident what you did. You can read madan also. However you need to cover whole syllabus, you can consider following points in sequence;
1. Chapter 1 is basic premise of IT subject. Have good learning and prepare first and well.
2. ERP very easy chap.
3. Chap 10 is law background. Learn Objective of Act,E-governance, Encryption (probably Sec. 3, if i am not wrong), digital signature, Certifying authority, powers of Central Govt., Some of penalty provisions.
4. BCP and DRP
5. Rest of chap as your time permit.
