Ca final exam form

This query is : Resolved

10 January 2015 Is the CA Final exam form for a student undergoing articleship to be signed by his / her Principal only?
OR Can any member of the Institute can sign?
What if a Principal is the sole proprietor and unable to sign because he is out of India, can the form be signed by any other member of the Institute?
Is such form accepted?
Thanks

10 January 2015 firstly if u r in article yes u must sign it from ur own CA

I hadnt expereienced this thing ever or heard but i think u can get it signed from any other CA, and for avoiding any issues attach a letter that u r unable to sign it from ur CA because he is out of india...!!!

10 January 2015 Hi,

You know just to be doubly clear I had sent the same query to ICAI and this is the reply I got

"Your photo and signature and data on the on-line form submitted by you has to be attested by a member of the Institute or your Principal in the case of Final candidates. However in the case of Intermediate (IPC) Exam candidates, it may be got attested by a Gazetted Officer also."
