I started my articleship on 1 dec 2011. wheather i am eligible to write my final exam on may 2014.

Those who are in the last six months of articleship period including excess leaves if any as on the first day of the commencement of exams are eligible to give such attempt of their exams.
Thus for May 2014 attempt you are in the last seven months of articleship training period os on 1-5-2014(assuming no excess leaves) So you are not eligible for May 2014 attempt and you are eligible for November 2014 attempt.

As per Regulation 50 of the CA Regulations, 1988, a student will be eligible to appear in Final Exam, after completing of 30 months (2 Years and 6 months) of article ship.
As per this you will be eligible for Nov 2014 attempt.
