Dear Sir/Madam
I am registered as an articled assisstant on 16/08/2011. Please tell me when I am eligible to give first CA Final Examinations. As per new rules, Is there any preponedment of examination by 6 months?

You are eligible to give your first CA final exam in May 2014. And there is no chance to preponedment of examination. However this eligibility may be change due the leaves by you. I.e if you have any excess leaves and due to such excess leaves you may not complete your articleship by 15-8-2014 and shall complete after or in the month of November 2013 then your attempt will be in November 2014.
To get the eligibility to CA final exam a student should be complete 2 and half years of articleship training period before to the 1st day of the month of commencement of exams. So excess leaves or sleeping period of articleship(i.e time gap due to termination) will change the actual eligibility of the attempt of exam.

As per Regulation 50 of the CA Regulations, 1988, a student will be eligible to appear in Final Exam, after completing of 30 months (2 Years and 6 months) of article ship.
As per this you will be eligible for May 2014 attempt.
