15 November 2013 firstly,I wanted to know I wanted to appear in ca final after a gap of five years...is there any necessary formality to be done.

secondly when should I appear may 2014 or nov 2014......is there more change in syllabus in nov..2014

15 November 2013 first of all check whether or not your registration is valid. if not, get it revalidated.

Each attempt witnesses some changes in one law or the other. For eg it is quite possible that the whole of new companies act may be made applicable for Nov 14.

Therefore the rule should be simple. Prepare and appear for the first possible attempt.
