Yes, but remember he should not be a full time director in the company.

disagreed with all...only COP holders have the restriction on being director simplictor. rest of the CAs (job holding CAs) can practically do anything.

But Nilhil if a CA is working in company A then how can he become director in Company X, Y or X??

that depends on the employment contract. there are hundreds of directors who are on board of companies (included listed ones) but are on payrolls of some other company. The matter of fact is ICAI act doesn't restrict non-practicing CAs to hold
directorship - executive or non-executive.

But can he/she b full time Director? I think as per ur case he/she can only b part time? Is i m ri8?

as said for MD there are restrictions, even that is manageable by following prescribed procedure. Except for that there are several executive directors who hold executive directorships are multiple places.
