disagreed with all...only COP holders have the restriction on being director simplictor. rest of the CAs (job holding CAs) can practically do anything.

that depends on the employment contract. there are hundreds of directors who are on board of companies (included listed ones) but are on payrolls of some other company. The matter of fact is ICAI act doesn't restrict non-practicing CAs to hold directorship - executive or non-executive.
the Companies act restrict only Managing directors to hold MD position at more than one company without certain approvals...

as said for MD there are restrictions, even that is manageable by following prescribed procedure. Except for that there are several executive directors who hold executive directorships are multiple places.
