hello sir,i am a CA final student and my attempt is May 13. i am interested in audit more than finance/taxation.At the same time the kind of knowledge MBA offers and the dynamic course pattern excites me.i am in two minds whether to proceed with MBA or CPA after CA. as there is no proper guidance available for CPA is it possible to pursue CPA along with a full tym MBA course. What is the duration for CPA course? Is CPA really value additive as i get mostly negative replies from my peers when i show interest in that course. Which US state shd be opted for? if not CPA then which would be the best course in audit stream after CA. I certainly dont mind investing two more years in studying after my CA.

If you are sure you are interested in AUDIT, MBA per se nay not be your cup of tea. CPA would be a better choice. Many institutes offering CPA course coaching, just have a look through internet. BECKER is one such name I know and it is good. CPA is absolutely good course. On the other hand, if you have fascination for audit and not the INTEREST, which seems to be a case from what I can gather from your query, MBA would be more proper for you. In that case try for nothing less than IIM(A)Best of Luck.
