Respected All,
I am registered with the ICAI for articles on 15.09.11 and my attempt is falling on MAY 2014
so my query is if i do not sit in the examination on this attempt will this attempt be counted as a valid one..... (i am not filling the examination form) and if not then from when will my attempts be counted

For which purpose do you want to count the number of attempts?
Although there is no limit on the number of attempts in Final, still for this purpose the attempt from which you are eligible to appear is counted.
If you want to mention in job, then only those attempts will be counted in which you actually appear.

According to me there is no limit on CA Final attempts.
