I want to take termination of the articleship from a CA firm within Aug, 2016 and join in another CA firm in Feb, 2017 i.e, after 6 months from the date of termination / transfer. Can I do so?

yes, you may do so.....finding a firm which can absorb you after 6 months would be a key factor....if you are sure of getting such a firm then you may do so
