Would you tell me that what is the proceedure of duplicate for " C" if originala is missing in transit

03 May 2011 lodge FIR,give advt. and give indeminity bond to the assessing authority,who will issue duplicate C form to the purchaser.

04 May 2011 If C form is lost, indemnity bond in form G is to be given and then duplicate C form can be issued.

As per section 8(1) (b) of CST Act 1956 sales tax on interstate sales is 2% or state rate whichever is lower, if the sale is to a registered dealer and goods are covered in the registration certificate of the purchasing dealer. Otherwise the tax applicable is the state rate applicable on the goods sold.
