16 March 2012 from when the higher rate of excise duty will be applicable..............

can we make invoices today (Budget day) still on the excise duty @10%.....

Please help................

16 March 2012 Rates will be applicable from the mid night of day when budget is presented unless any other date specified in budget or any notification. Accordingly higher rates will be applicable from 17.03.2012 unless any date is specified in budget or any notification.
