Bsr code at the time of online payment

I haven't deposit Self assessment tax through online mode. so i would like to clear that, will i get BSR code on challan receipt or not.

08 August 2013 Yes you can get BSR Code on Challan. If Bank not given on challan, then contact to Bank and take the BSR Code from bank.

08 August 2013 sir please clear that BSR code is unique for all challan payments of a Bank or not, just like PAN No. for us

08 August 2013 BSR code can be found in the challan counterfoil.

BSR code of each branch is different.
