hello, I want to know the tax treatment on sale of shares. suppose Mr. A has purchased shares of Rs. 1 lakh in 2003 and the price of shares are 4 lakh now. so whether tax is exempt in this case if STT is paid or is it liable for LTCG and how much amount is he liable to pay. Thanks

Sir, I registered in GMCS -1 batch by NIRC (through online) which start on tomorrow but I can't attend to that batch due to some reason and also I can't change that batch due unavailability of upcoming batches. So,I want to ask with you that if i don't attend that batch then can i take upcoming batch and due to this Is my registration will be cancelled or not,so please help me sir by solving my query.
