Under the head other sources, what is the exact meaning of the term lineal ascendant or descendant of an individual within the context of the term relative for gift purpose

Can we re-issue CPT marksheet from any of ICAI’s regional offices (like WRO,NRO,etc) if our CPT marksheet gets lost in the transit btw the ICAI-BOS and our address of correspondence. What’s the procedure and what fees do we have to pay?


Actually, the admit card of CPT Nov07 still hasn’t reached my postal address in Kathmandu; so I doubt the marksheet could get lost in the transit ie in the ICAI’s postal service provider. Since we need CPT marksheet to enroll into articleship, I’d like to know what is the way out in case of such uncertainty. I am a FRO student.

(STCG)or Short term capital loss may be set-off only by STCG.But this STCG may be of two types i.e.Earned by delivry (Shares transferes) and by Jobbing System.
Now my query is that whether this Jobbing Short term Capital Loss is capable to be set off & C/F for being set-off??

pleasae tell me what care should be taken for checking sales of export unit.

For Certifying that the tax(any tax)has been remitted within the due date or not,whether we need to go by date of deposit of cheque or by date of clearance of cheque.i.e. whether is it sufficient that if i deposit cheque on or within due date or is it mandatory that the cheque has to be realized within the due date. please give case law references if any.
