Whether companies act 2013 is applicable in may 2015 & Nov 2015. i.e. 282 sections of new companies act is applicable

In F.Y. 2012-13 my frnd purchased a flat.He paid stamp duty & regi. fee for that transaction. I want to know that whether he can get deduction for stamp duty & regi. fee.
If yes plz suggest in which year he can get the deduction in f.y. 2012-13 or in 2013-14. Also suggest the section.

I registered for articles ship on 30-4-2014 actually I joined in a CA firm for Articleship for 3 years which is not a family bussiness. But by mistakenly i select family Bussiness option in a article ship form.

What is the logic behind amortisation of goodwill in case of partnership firms & n case of companies?( although its s per AS, but i did not get the logic behind it)

I have joined a MBA course in August 2013 but have not submitted the form with the ICAI yet. It is a regular course but it does not required attendance and my principal knows about it. Is it compulsory for me to file the form with the institute as my articleship is however going to end in this august. What would be the consequences of late filing of the form or for not filing.
