I am a student of CA Final and i have Nov 2014 Attempt but m not sure about my preparation for both the groups . I wanted to know whether I can appear for the Second Group in Nov 2014and First Group in May -15? Is it posiible to do so ??

Do you think I should pursue CA directly after 12th or should I complete b.com (h) from du(hindu/hansraj), complete ipcc side by side and then do CA. It will take 2 years extra in the latter. what say? crucial decision..please help Thnx

Kindly guide on the ‘basic’ queries:

1. Balance Sheet,
2. Statement of Profit and Loss and
3. Page of Last Note on financial statements

Please confirm, whether ‘Place’ mentioned in the ‘BS, P&L and Page of Last Note of Financial Statements’ shall represent the Place of Registered Office of the Company or

‘Place’ shall represent the Location of the Auditor, who signs his/her Report and the Accounts.

Incidentally, I came across the Annual Report of a Cochin based Company, where the ‘Auditor of Salem’ has struck off the ‘Place: Cochin’ and changed it as ‘Salem’.

I need to understand, whether ‘Salem’ is appropriate to mention in the above said documents. Please Confirm.

Can I know the lay out of Balance Sheet confirming the ‘Place’ should be relating to the Registered Office of the Company only?

What Is mean By CENVAT?Is It central Vat?

I had written my articleship completion date 15-05-2014, and sent form 108 on 12-06-2014.But I had mentioned 160 leaves (I was aware that 180 days leave is allowed to me.) Till now not received any letter from ICAI,but inquired on phone, they told only 155 leaves were allowed to me. please suggest what I can do now, to save time and get completion letter asap.(to send 107, or 103)

can you tell me what are the weightage of paper 4 and paper 2 of ipcc taxation and law ethics & communication for november 2014 examination.I am alredy given exam of group-I of ipcc and i am douftful about my passing and i am here that some paper weightage has been changed and i have old module edition june 2013.
