As per Query No.3 of Board of Studies announcement on 3rd Aug 2007 Can i apply for PCC Study material to my Reginal office at Rs.400 ?

Query 3. (i) Can a Professional Education (Course-II) student other than those who have passed Professional Education (Examination-I) or Foundation Examination appear in Professional Competence Examination to be held in May 2008 or Nov 2008?
(ii) What are the conditions to be fulfilled?
(iii) Whether ITT or CCT is compulsory?
Answer: (i) He / she can appear Professional Competence Examination having exhausted all attempts of Professional Education (Examination-II) only in November 2008.
(ii) He / she can apply to the Board of Studies for issuance of study materials. They have to pay cost of the study materials which has been fixed at Rs.400.
(iii) This category of students should complete 100 Hours Information Technology Training or should have completed 250 Hours Compulsory Computer Training before joining articleship. They are not required to complete ITT / CCT before appearing in Professional Competence Examination as this is an equivalent to Professional Education (Examination-II) offered to them as a special concession.

How many days of Final exam leave granted by ICAI ?

My friend has cleared PEE - 2 in Nov. 2007 and has been enrolled in the new scheme. Wherein she has to undergo a training of 3.5 yrs. Therefore, wud the CA final attempt be due after 2.5 or 3 yrs of training?
However, I have even read a post saying that the student who have cleared PEE - 2 in Nov. 2007 can appear for finals in MAy 2010.

Further, is the CCPT exam very tough?
And if the student is not able to submit CCPT certificate within 3 months of training then what are the consequences?

Should i give both the groups together or one a time ? ..nov-08

i want this to be clarified. One of my friends registered with in Old CA inter and is yet to complete the same.I came across some news that for Ca inter nov 2007 is the last attempt. and some say it is may 2008. e even the SIRC people cannot clarify correctly.
