Hi..
I received a letter from ICAI Chennai stating that the Final Exam Attempt that I appeared for in November 2014 will not be corrected because as per them I have not complied with my article training requirement.
I joined my article in FIRM 1 on 26.04.2012 and took termination from the same firm on 15.04.2013.
I rejoined another article FIRM 2 on 26.04.2013 and the completion date is 07.05.2015.
To appear for CA Final Exam, I should have completed 2.5 years of my articleship training. I have complied with the rule and appeared for my exam in November 2014.
I already prepared for the exams, registered and applied for the Hall ticket and also appeared for the examination, but now I received the letter stating the result will be withheld.
I request all of you to give me an advice as to what I should do.
Thanking You
Regards
Sir,
In the previous year i.e. FY 2013-14 (AY 2014-15), I have wrongly considered the self assessment tax of for FY 2012-13 (AY 2013-14) deposited in september 2013 as the Advance Tax for FY 2013-14 (AY 2014-15).
My books were audited under section 44AB and the return was filed on time.
Please advice whether the return has to be revised after I deposit the shortfall in tax for FY 2013-14 (AY 2014-15) as self assessment tax or it can be rectified under section 154.
Please advice how I can correct my mistake.
Thanks in advance.
I'm in my first year of articleship and i've to travel for an internal audit everyday.
My question here is -
The place of audit is 2 hr , 30 mins from the office of my CA.... so daily i start from my house at 7.30 a.m... reach office at 8 a.m..
then reach client's place at 10.30 a.m...
work in client's place from 10.30 to 5... then reach my ca office at 7.30 pm and reach home finally at 8 pm...
so office to office reporting is 8 am to 7.30 pm.... which includes 11 hr 30 mins,....
can i claim this 4 hr 30 mins as credit for excess hours worked or not ( 11 hr 30 - 7 hrs )...
please please reply....

I have cleared my 1st group of ipcc in may 13 n 2nd group in Nov 13.. my final attempt is in may16, but I haven't registered myself for final examination. is there any specific time before which I should registere myself for appearing in may16??
I am serving as an article assistant from 12/09/2014 and sent the form 103. Now I got to know that my Principal has got a notice from the ICAI that she is not eligible to train me, as 10 students already registered under her. But the fact is one of the students has been terminated as article on 30/08/2013 but the form 109 was not submitted. Now the form is submitted. But till now no reply from the institution. So, my question is whether my registration will be considered from the date 12/09/2014? Should I send a fresh Form 103 to register my articleship ? Please anybody guide me in this regard
