I would like to know the maximum no. of leave that can be availed during the articleship period of 3 years and the mode of calculation of leave entitlement.

I would like your advise wheather there are any coaching classes or person to teach theory subjects of CA Final

i have cleared pe -II in nov.2006.& also 250 hours coputer training i& i have joined my articleship on 1 aug. 2007 in ca firm. now i want to know whether i should join final in old or in new scheme because if i join old course i wil get only one attempt i.e in nov 2009 & afterward i will atomatically shift in new course. i got this information from icai's help desk i.e on phone. and now i have to make DD for registration in final course so i want to know what amount of DD should i made for new scheme & old scheme? & when will be my first attempt under new scheme?

I am working as Accounts Officer in a big company handling accounts of 250 crores and hosting the audit work. I have cleared PE 2 course. If Institute may allow me to appear in final exam without articleship. What is your views in this regards. As per my views it is needed to allow such type of person to appear in examination without articleship to strengthen the institute and CA profession.

iam having ca final attempt in may 2009 after nov 2009 new syllabus will come into force if we doesnt clear with in these two attempts we have to compulsory change to the new syllubus or there is a chance of incresing the attempts ?

I have Passed one of my groups of Pe2 and i am expecting to pass another in coming novembe attempt.
I want to know, can i stil get entry in some big ca firms,.
I am ready to face any interview

Dear Sir,

i just wanted to know the following ;

1.Services rendered in respest of caoching of foreign language is taxable or not.
2. english is included in the foreign language category or not.
3. computer training institute are covered under service tax act or not .
4. if the value of taxable service provided inreases 8 lacs,then tax is to be charged for amount in excess of 8 lacs or whole amount.
