New Training Guide-Leave Clarification

02 September 2007 1) I had perused the new Training Guide on the Institute website which was posted on 12/06/2007. In the same it was given that the Entitlement of Leave is 1/6th of Actual Period served instead of the earlier 1/7th pf Actual period served. We have a group of articled clerks who had joined our firm in November 2004 and who are continuing in our firm as articles currently. Please clarify whether the new training guide will be applicable to them also, with regard to the Entitlement of Leave based on actual period served, i.e. whether Leave entitlement is 1/7th or 1/6th of actual period served?

2) In calcluating the Total Leave taken(other than weekly holidays), are intervening sundays and national holidays, arising during the period of leave, included in the same?

06 September 2007 The new notification is applicable for students registered after a certain month of the year.. plz clarify this from the notification...1/6th is the earned leave out of the total working days during ur articleship period...i mean out of the days worked by you.. 1/6th will be allowed as earned leave.. if i'm not wrong the working days is 6 days a week already leavin out sunday...
