Transfer gap

I am a PCC student. After taking transfer from one CA firm, how much time is there before we can join another, so that our attempt is not shifted? How to calculate it?
Is Form 109 to be submitted within 30 days of getting the transfer?

Time gap in transfer

I am a PCC student. I started my articleship in mid- January. I have completed 7 months of training out of 15 months.
My attempt is due in Nov. 09. I am taking transfer from my current firm.
Now,I have to complete further 8 months of training with a gap of 3 more , before I can appear for PCE.
My problem is: My current firm has asked me not to attend office in the meantime , ie ,gap between the day I gave the papers and the day on which they will give it back signed !
Will it cause any problem as according to them, I have ceased to be their article on the day I gave the papers.
Will this time gap (on their part) hinder my attempt?

Thanks

My question is : How much time gap is allowed in this case , between the date of transfer and date of joining the new firm ;so that my attempt is not shifted. This issue is coming up because the new firm will not accept us as their trainee before we get formal transfer.

Kindly solve this issue as soon as possible. Thanks

Dear Friends
My name is akj I have passed my CPT in Feb 2007 and consequently joined as an article trainee in a reputed firm from 13/04/07. I had made a mistake that while filling form no.102 that I had not submitted the information that what are my college timings, rather I had given the information that I had completed my Part I of my B.com (Hons.) in 2006 under XYZ University and from ABC College. A further query was send to me on 13/08/2007 asking about that weather I am donig B.com Part II or not, but due to my Inverdent mistake I cant submit my answer and after a long gap on 26/06/2008 I was able to submit the answer that my college is now over and I had completed my college in 2008 and my results are awaited . After a few days Institute had again asked me about the college timings and has asked my Employer about the timings of the article assistants in the office and had asked to forward my Admit Card of Final Part of B.Com (Hons.), in answer to that query I had submitted the college timings as from 6.00AM. to 9.30AM. and the office timings as from 10.00AM. to 5.00PM. but in actual the college timings were from 6.00AM. to 10.30AM. I had done this mistake because I had to comply with the rule that was of uniform timing of all the article asistants. I addition to that I had also submitted form no.112 with the same college timings as above on 21/07/08. after a few day on 24/07/08 a further clarification letter was send by the institute asking about the college timings and office timings as from the date of starting the articleship training and had also asked me to get a certificate abut the college timings on that date (13/04/07), the problem is that my college is not ready to give any certificate stating the college timings as from 6.00AM. to 9.30AM.an now I am wondering about what are the possibilities?

The interesting an the most tradgec point of the whole episode is that at the time when I had started my article ship training at that time the facility of extended office timings were available to the article assistants and on and from 28/03/08 the facility was totaly withdrawn by the Institute prior to that my last college sessions were also over and my final exams were from the first week of april 2008.

Now I am totally hopeless about what are the ways out of it? I had also talked in the Articles section but they are sticked to what they want.I am worrying that what can now I do if I submit the certificate of college timings as 6.00am. to 10.30am. and what if I would not submit the college certificate?

If you have some suggestions you can mail me on my mailing address @ aniknamerger@gmail.com

1. the announcement used word have exhousted.
Should it be have not exhousted?

2. if the last attempt falls in nov08, can the student again appear in the may09 attempt, as per the announcement, inspite of exhousting all attempts?

3.does "all the students" mean that there is only one condition to satisfy i.e. being a PE2 student, for appearing in both the exams of nov08 and may09?

Institute has released the below notice.
My Query is that whether the student who has directly taken admission in PE-II after graduation, can give the exams.

CA Students : Last Professional Education (Examination-II) extended to May 2009
Posted on : 22 August 2008 by Miss Komal Mantri [ Scorecard : 1369]

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Last Professional Education (Examination-II) extended to May 2009 for those students who have joined PE-II after passing Foundation/ Professional Education (Examination-I) - (22-08-2008)

In order to mitigate the hardship being faced by the students who were registered for Professional Education (Course-II) after passing Professional Education (Examination-I) / Foundation Examination / Entrance Examination as the case may be and have exhausted five consecutive attempts (after having been eligible for admission to the said examination), the Council of the Institute has further decided to hold two more Professional Education (Examination-II) in November, 2008 and May, 2009 as well.

As such, all the students of Professional Education (Course -II) who joined the course either on the basis of their degree examination or after passing Foundation Examination / Entrance Examination / Professional Education (Examination-I) can now appear in Professional Education (Examination-II) in November, 2008 and May, 2009 as well.

Candidates who are registered for Professional Education (Course-II) but have not yet fulfilled their respective eligibility conditions are, however, advised to submit the prescribed number of test papers before July 1, 2008 and January 1, 2009 and become eligible for appearing in the November, 2008 and May, 2009 Professional Education (Examination-II), respectively.
