seniors..i m frm jharkhand...cleared both grp...want to do articleshp...in delhi or kolkatta ....i have apply for an artcleshp in delhi..n selected in a ca firm,,joining date..13may....yet ..i have not deposited my form 102 in d institute..so not bound.for delhi ca firm...now i am confused ..where i will go for artclshp..as kolkatta is near from my native place jharkhand..but not in case of delhi...so plz advice me ..i m verrry confused.. confused..plz help me....shall i go for apply as an articleshp in kolkatta or ...join d delhi firm........

My Friend has passed the Ist Group of IPCC in the earlier attempt of May 2012 now he want to join the articleship but he has not passed the his ITT exam.Now my query is that can he apply for articleship without certificate of ITT.

hi, i am an ipcc student. i wanted to ask a personal i-tax query as i still don't have much tax knowledge. my father owns a house in one city from about 30 years. we want to shift to another city by buying a flat and selling the present house. to gain deduction under capital gains , the existing house has to be sold within 1 year of purchase of the flat.. my query is which date is considered as the date of purchase of the flat?? the date on which the down payment is paid and the agreement is signed or the date of registration..?? we want more time to sell the present house.. plz advise the best possible way to save tax...
